I have been involved in art organizations over the years while living in both VA and NC. As an active plein air painter I assisted in forming the Coastal Carolina Plein Air Artists in North Carolina, as well as assisting in forming the Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge in Virginia. While participating in these organizations I was active in teaching workshops in pastel, acrylic, and plein air painting, and arranging various art exhibitions.
