Rules for Entries

  1. Artists must reside in Craven, or surrounding counties, be at least 18 years of age, and are NOT currently represented in a public space.
  2. Only original artworks will be accepted (NO giclées).
  3. Two-dimensional artwork in all media (acrylics, oils, pastels, mixed media, watercolor, drawing, and photography).
  4. A maximum of two pieces per artist may be entered, and displayed on easels. (Artist should try to supply their own easel as we only have a limited number of easels.)
  5. Size Limit: 24×36. Artist may display large pieces as space permits.
  6. Entries will be priced for sale by the artist, and the artist must process their own sales by accepting cash, check, or charge (must have your own Square-Up or other vendor). Community Artists Gallery will take no commission on any sale.
  7.  Fee for entry: $5.00 donation to Community Artists Gallery and Studios, to be paid for on the day of the event (no credit cards).
  8. Artwork is to be dropped off at the Harrison Center on Friday, April 11th, after 2pm. The Show starts at 5pm.
  9. Artist must be present for entire show on Friday, hours 5:30pm-8pm, and Saturday, hours 10am-3pm.
  10. Artist identification must be affixed to to the bottom of all artwork.
  11. Artwork must be removed by artist on April 12th by 4pm.
  12. Registration ends March 28, 2025.

To complete the registration process, this form must be filled out. Your information will not be shared with any other group without your permission.

The undersigned does hereby and forever discharge the Community Artists Gallery and Studios of New Bern, its board of directors and agents from all manner of actions, damages, claims, and demands whatsoever in law or equity, from any loss or damages to the undersigned’s property while in the possession, supervision, or auspices of the Community Artists Gallery and Studios.

The Undersigned agrees to the rules set forth for this show, and will abide by the rules established by the Community Artists Gallery for the show. Photos taken of artists work submitted may be used by the Community Artists Gallery and Studios for promotional purposes in media and on the Community Artists Gallery and Studios website.
