My love of photography began as a little kid in Chicago, experimenting with an old Kodak camera from the 1930s. I still remember the excitement of picking up my prints at the neighborhood drugstore. Years later, I carried a camera with me to Vietnam while serving in the Marine Corps, and photography has been part of my life ever since.
Along the way, I earned several professional photography honors, but I’ve never stopped learning. In recent years, I’ve rediscovered the magic of film and working in my own darkroom. Today, my work blends digital photography with traditional handcrafted silver gelatin prints.
