Virginia Wernersbach

Virginia is originally from Brooklyn, NY, and lived most of her life on Long Island. She retired to New Bern from Sayville, NY. She has been active in the artistic community for 20 years. Virginia was a member of TRAA, and was on the Board as the Vice-President in charge of programming for two years.

She has served on the Board as the President, Secretary, and Vice President. Her favorite medium is Oil.

Virginia is an active member in the local Coastal Carolina Plein Air Painters. She has been the Artist of the Month on the Craven Art Council’s postcard as the featured artist for ArtWalk. Virginia is also active in the New Bern Plein Air Festival. She loves the art community in New Bern and has traveled with other artists to Europe to explore and paint. Virginia has a love for painting, traveling and music.
